WikiMusicGuide (WMG) is an open-content music guide, written and contributed by the online music community all over the world. It is a comprehensive niche of up-to-date and factual information about musical artists and bands of every genre with their full discography and works as well as newsworthy events in the music industry.
The site aims to become a one stop music resource that provides the latest news, facts and trivia about independent or mainstream artists and bands of various time. It also allows users to share and add their reviews on the albums and singles of every genre. The independent artists are also given access to their pages wherein they can enhance and update their own pages. They are also given opportunity to post news and upcoming concerts they have.
WMG is powered by wiki, which means the contents are can be edited by a certain user. Its content is covered under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 2.5 license. Contributions remain the property of their creators, while the license ensures the content will remain freely distributable and reproducible. The use of site free and membership is currently by invitation only.

Its pontential are starting to unfold, very great site. They have a comprehensive list of music genres I want. Pop, Rock, Rap, R&B - they should be the number source of information in the web today. I came to know this site while googling with the keyworkds 'music wiki' and/or 'music guide' and they came top ten.
Its a great place to interact with music lovers where they could contribute and share informations about their favorite artist. And keep the whole music community updated. I'll give WMG and A! |
