Waveform Analysis
The process where the waveform of the audio signal itself is analyized to determine various indentifying aspects of the song.
The difference between Waveform and Human analysis is that most Waveform approaches are all done via machine - with little to no analysis actually being performed by a human listening to the song.
- Unique audio fingerprint
- Beats per Minute
- Harmonic Range
- Etc.
