I have just finished mastering a CD that we're sending off for duplication. I'd like to use the masters to create quality mp3 or AAC for selling digital downloads.
It is a confusing terrain to find the info. I understand that the bit rate should be 192, but I'm not sure if there is an application for encoding that also makes the tracks secure. Should I even worry if the tracks are secure? We're also looking to sell on ITunes and Zune. Are the formats different? Any advice would be much appreciated!
